DH Enemy of Success quote

In this week's Moving Forward Monday Darren Hardy, Best-Selling Author and Success Mentor to CEOs & High-Achievers, shares one his secrets to achieving success, and invites Fishbowl Members and Followers to attend his Global Broadcast event this week where he'll spill 3 of his insider secrets for Free.

If you don't know Darren, he has interviewed hundreds of the most successful, most elusive people on the planet, and has spent many years compiling their unique wisdom into programs and methodologies to share with others. Recently, Darren shared with Fishbowl that the Ultra-Successful spend about 5% of their time doing the super-cool stuff we usually see... like Sir Richard Branson's latest exploit, or Oprah Winfrey's interview with the Dalai Lama , or Peyton Manning throwing a touch-down pass, or Bono (Paul David Hewson) on stage rockin' it out... what we don't see is the 95% of the time they spend in the mundane tasks, the down-in-the-dirt hard work to produce those 5% moments.

Have you ever heard anyone say "If I can just get to [fill-in-the-blank], then I can relax and have all the fun like [Branson/ Oprah/ Peyton/ Bono]."? If they only knew... there is a price that comes with success, and it's not one that can be paid in cash.

Ultra-successful people find ways to stay focused and stay motivated. In fact, Darren says that "Success is extracted from the grind of mundane work." "It's easy to get bored or become complacent." he says. "But it will kill your drive. It will kill your passion. And that is The Enemy of Success."

So this week, think about what you're expecting success to look like. And let us know... what will you be grinding successfully through this week?
